11. How to change the names on the Locator Map (countries, states, regions etc)?
Open the locator_map.xml configuration file in any text editor. Let’s take USA Locator Map as an example. In the locator_map.xml you should find the following line within the <map_data> section:
... <name>Alabama</name> ...
This line indicates the name of the Alabama state. You can change the text that will be displayed when you select this state with mouse to anything you want. The same way you can change names of other states or countries, simply look for the <name> tag in the locator_map.xml file.
