07. How to display a popup window when a user moves the mouse over the pinpoint?

Here is how you can do this using the visual WYSIWYG editor.

1. Open the preview of the map using the locator_start.html file in your purchased zip file. In the preview, scroll down until you see the WYSIWYG map editor.

2. Find the pin you want and click it. You will see its name in a box at the right side of the editor. Now you may specify any text that will be displayed as a popup window in the corresponding field.

3. Click the “Update map” button to apply changes to the map, so you could evaluate it. If it is OK, click “Copy XML to clipboard”. Open the data.xml in any plain-text editor and paste the code from the clipboard there replacing the existing contents. Save data.xml and upload it back to your website.

Note that you can also specify an image that will be displayed in the popup.
