The settings for the Brazil map editor are stored via web storage, which is located in the browser and is designed to store data (localStorage). This does not use cookies and does not send any data to our server. If you are clearing history and site data in your browser, the settings will be reset. If you use the browser in incognito mode, the settings will also not be saved when you close the window. In this case, you can export the settings to a JSON file on the 'Export' tab after editing, and then import the file when needed.
